In the song "Christmas must be something more" sang by Taylor Swift she sings, "what if ribbons and bows didn't mean a thing?" Well through out the whole song she sings about how Christmas is not something that should be celebrated for just the gifts. It's meant to celebrate Jesus Christ. And not only that but to be spending time with your family. Well it got me thinking. What if ribbons and bows really didn't mean a thing? What if presents all went away? Well then we would really be able to understand the true meaning of christmas. I'm not saying to take presents away. But we all worry so much about jobs and money and presents. We really need to take to appreciate the real meaning of christmas.

But another thing i really truely love about christmas is all the family tradition. From the caroling around the neighboorhood on christmas eve night, to the movie on christmas eve day. The video we get to watch at the end of the year to see how much we all have grown. The huge feast on christmas day. The pj's from christmas eve. I just love it all. I can't wait for christmas:)

This week....for me, has been very hard. About a year and a half ago, we lost our beloved Grammy to cancer. This saturday being her birthday, i have been thinking a lot about her. Watching movies with our family pictures on it really brings her back into my life. And it helps me rember how wonderful she really was and how much she helped me with everything. Now sitting here, with each tear rolling down my cheek, i think about her, and just how important my family really is to me. Ever since my grammy died we have kind of drifted, and i know that it was bound to happen.....because she really was the one who held us together. But we really need to pull through as a family. Because nothing can pull a family apart more than death, and take it from someone who knows. It hurts...... it hurts a lot. In this life we really have to consider what love is. Its not just a word you can throw around, it is something that means more than anything in this whole entire world. With out love nothing would be beautiful. Nothing would have meaning. Nothing would be the same. And when you really, truley realize how much you love someone and their gone, its really hard. Dont ever let a moment pass by where you dont tell, your parents, your grandparents, your sibblings, your spouse, and even your friends that you love them. Because one day.... you might just loose them. And then you have to make it through the rest of your life, hoping that maybe, just maybe you said "I love you" to that one person. And pray that they know it. As im sitting here thinking about how i had the chance to say i love you to her, and really wishing i had taken it. But then knowing if i had, i would have seen her like that forever in my mind and knowing that i could never see her like that. So for now.... let all your family know how much you really love them, write in down in a letter, a call on the phone, send a message, just anything so they know how much you really love them.

Today I have done pretty much nothin! But after school I got to go to Haylee's house to do piano, which if i do say so myself.... i am pretty friggin bomb! Haha but onto more serious things... I am finally getting my grades up!! Yay! I get my "new" phone tomorrow. Why the quotes around new? Well i kind of sorta broke this same phone im getting..... TWICE soooooo haha yeah not really new to me, but im stoked im getting it back!!:) Thank you mom and dad for being reasonable!:) Anywho..... my life is pretty boring haha soo what am i going to do? AVATAR!! I freakin loved this movie, the filming was incredible... and it is my favorite movie so far.

The Blind Side. I really liked this one, it was cute and to the point.

Alvin and the chipmonks the squeakquel, it was an okay movie...nothing i would recomend seeing but i liked it.

Well it has been exactly a year since my grammy has died. We went down to her grave today and as we cleaned off her stone i knew she was looking down at us, and i know for a fact she is pretty dang proud! She is my hero, i really love her so much. I know that because of the plan of salvation i can be with her again and im so very thankful for that! And as i am sitting here balling my eyes out it really makes me think of what a wonderfuly life she really did live and how she NEVER once told us she was in pain, and how lucky i am to have her as a wonderful grammy! I love you grammy and i know that some day i will be with you again!

Well right now i am suppose to be cleaning my room, but im blogging instead! hah funny how that works isnt it? Anyways, so today i went to school like every "normal" kid, why the quotes around normal? Because normal is overated! I still go to school though! i am so excited to be going back to this cabin!! We always have so much fun here!! It ends up being really fun becasue i have such an amazing family. You could NEVER be bored wiht this family!! We play signs, B.S, and we even do treasure hunts!! My favorite part though is just being able to be up there and spending time with my family, but i am also really glad that Kelsey could come with me!! So yeah i wont be typing for a while then!

So yes, i am sick...... and hating every minute of it! All day long i have been one facebook and looking at people's blogs and watching tv. Let me tell you i am so sick Little People Big World and stupid Animal Planet. Who ever invented Animal Planet was seriously retarded because i have no idea how people can just sit there and watch an animal just sitting there. WOW that's really fasinating! NOT. It's the most stupid thing i have ever heard of, and i feel really bad for Meg because she had to stay with me the whole day long! Well today I might be going to take pictures with Haylee and my little sisters!:) fun fun!! and my dad might take me and Haylee driving so i am pretty much excited! It's not a whole lot but what can you do when the keyword of your life is boring? Tonight should also be fun. We are going to watching a movie in our backyard. How you may ask.... well i will tell you! My Padra got this projector from his work(he apparently uses it for training??) and we are going to put it up and out a screen and watch signs! So hopefully my friend(which ever one that may be) will be able to watch it with us!! :)

It has been almost a year scince my grammy died. I love her very much and miss her a lot. At times i am crying wishing she were here, but then i think if she were here she would be in pain, she wouldn't be nearly as happy as she is now. So as much as i miss her, i know she is in a better place!

Last nnight i went to a thinng for young womens and it alked about self image! I loved it so much! I just want all you girls to know that your are beautiful. The world is lying to you telling you that you should look like this person and dress like that one. Our heavenly father looks down on us everyday and he doesn't want to see a girl trying to be someone she is not! He wants to see a beautiful strong girl who knows who she is and that she is pround of her self! One of the quotes was " Focus on you, but when you walk out that door serve others". Okay this is not one of those stupid tagging posts but i was just thinking about things that irratate me! So here are the top ten things:
1.) Teachers that don't explain what to do! i absolutly hate that. i am not really good at listening to teachers when they just drag on and on but i can listen when it is short and simple! it makes life so much harder when they have to add a story to there niddle of explaining things and i hate that so much.... moving on.
2.) When my room is clean and then my little sisters go in there and mess it up! hate that! i really think that if they just stayed out of my room that things would be fine, but no they gotta do it the hard way!
3.) When my hair looks so cute in the morning and then i look at myself in the mirror later that day and it looks horrible! Enough said
4.) When my mother trys to hurry me when i am trying to write a new post. that really bugs me MOM! haha
5.) At ross when the cloths are just thrown everywhere! i can never find anything in that store because of the way they se it up!
6.) Targets policys! when i go to get on the old people carts and they say i cannot because i am not injured or over 18! dumb!
7.) HOMEWORK!! i hate it i hate it i hate it!
8.) When i can't find anyone to sit with at lunch! that really bugs me!
9.) When the lesson in schools just blows right over my head!

this last week i started high school and i am loving it so much! My cousin haylee is in my seminary class and i was so happy to hear that! she is so awsome and i love having her in my class! Any who.... I am writing this post all because of haylee!! Haha... so we were talking when we were walking to our next hour and she said that i like never post comments on her blog, and so i took the liberty of finally doing that!! This week has been really hard for me for some reason and i don't know why! we are going to see wicked on tuesday and i think that might be why i am so sad. the last time i saw wicked i was with her and this is her favorite play. it was also her and my papa's anneversity this weekend and it just kind of hit me that she was gone and i haven't been able to stop thinking about her! i know that someday i am going to be with her again but it is just kind of hard right now. and the fact that we just got back from the beach! that is hard too but i know that no matter what she will help me get through this and i am grateful for that!! I am so excited for Valentine's day this year, we are going to the beach with my dad's side of the family and i am so excited!! We are also going to do Papa's polar bear club at the beach too!!! For those of you who don't know, Papa's polar bear club is where in Febuary when it is very cold, we jump into the pool to honor my grammy and all she went through. It was our first year last year and if she had cancer we would have to jump inot the pool. She ended up having cancer and now we keep it up yearly. Except this year we are going to do it at the beach and i am so scared. I don't really know if i want to go into the ocean but i will no matter what .

I am a little late posting about my grammy. She died dec. 27. i am really going to miss her very much. She always saw the best in every thing. i don't know why but when i thought of her i thought of the time that leslie got into a car accident driving down the freeway, and the thing i rember most about that(even thought i wasn't there) that my grammy went down there as soon as she heard about it. That made me wish i was more like her.She was always there for everything, dance recitals, baseball games, even the littlest talks in church she was there. I love her so much and i am going to miss her. I am so lucky to be able to have her in my life. She was always the light in all our eyes and she always put everyone else first in whatever she did. I love her and know she will always be in my heart!!! I LOVE YOU GRAMMY!!!!!!!!!!
